Blain Nicholls

Blain Nicholls has over 35 years of professional experience in engineering and management on a variety of projects and programs. Blain served for NorthWestern Energy for nearly 20 years as a Director of NorthWestern Energy's T&D Project Management Office, Operations Manager and Engineer.

In addition to utility work Blain has experience in aerospace, nuclear generation, energy storage and other various engineering related industries. He serves on the Board of Directors for industry leading energy storage firms.

Blain holds an engineering degree from Montana State University and is a registered professional engineer and project management professional. He has served on the Western Energy Institute Project Management Utilities planning committee for the past eight years.
